Straight Answers for a Smooth Process

We get it—questions come up. Below, we’ve answered the most common ones so you can feel confident and ready to move forward with Amigo Studio.

Your rate includes all the good pictures from your shoot, color grading, and post-processing. Digital manipulation (photoshopping) isn’t included, but you can add it later for a fee. Plus, we offer annual backups and prints for an extra charge.

What does my rate include?

Yes, you can request raw files in the booking notes. For commercial shoots, let’s talk about usage before moving forward.

Can I have the raw files?

Absolutely! You can order prints directly from your user dashboard once your deliverables are ready.

Can I print my photos with you?

Yes, we offer digital manipulation where we adjust the appearance of people or objects in the image. For portraits, it’s billed at $65 per image, and rates vary for other categories like real estate or product photography.

Can you retouch my pictures?

Turnaround time for photo shoots is typically two business days, and for video, it’s about a week. Need a quick preview? Ask your shooter, and they’ll accommodate if they can. For branding projects, timelines depend on the scope, but expect two weeks for simple work and longer for ongoing projects.

How soon can I see the final images or video?

We don’t charge extra per picture. You’ll get all of the good pictures from the shoot for the rate you’re paying.

How many pictures will I get for my rate?

General Questions

Once we send you your content, you’ll have seven days to download it. After that, the content will be archived or deleted at our discretion. We do offer a Digital Archive Service, where your content will be backed up on our private server for an annual fee.

How long will I have access to my deliverables?

We’ll go above and beyond to ensure you’re happy with the deliverables. If you have any issues or need revisions, let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll do what we can to make things right. Revisions are available, and we’re here to support you through the entire process.

What if I need changes after the shoot is done?

Our free brand consultation is a 20-30 minute call where we’ll outline your needs and goals, walk through the process, and go over pricing and timelines. If you decide to move forward, we’ll follow up with a more in-depth one-hour Zoom interview to get the ball rolling.

What’s included in a brand consultation?

Deliverables & Client Access

If you cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours in advance, there’s no penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged in full. Rescheduling within 24 hours incurs a $65 fee, but we may make exceptions for emergencies at our discretion.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Sure, you can end early if needed, but there are no refunds for unused time. We book that time exclusively for you, so even if you wrap up early, you’ll still be charged for the full booking.

Can I end my booking early?

Yes, if the photographer is available. Extensions are billed at $75 per 15 minutes, starting from the first minute. It’s always more cost-effective to book extra time upfront.

Can I extend my booking during the shoot?

We’re flexible with rain checks. If the weather’s bad enough to make the shoot impossible (heavy rain, snow, or high winds), we’ll reschedule at no extra charge—at our discretion. But cloudy days, light rain, or chilly weather aren’t deal-breakers. In fact, overcast skies can make for perfect portrait lighting.

What happens if there’s bad weather on the day of the shoot?

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Bookings

In the U.S., the copyright of an image typically belongs to the photographer. However, for commercial shoots, we’re happy to relinquish usage rights and copyright for an additional fee. Personal shoots like portraiture generally come with perpetual rights for the client, with the option to request that we refrain from using the images for portfolio purposes.

Who owns the commercial usage rights and copyright of the images?

For personal shoots, we reserve the right to use the images in our portfolio and on social media, but you can opt out at booking. For commercial shoots, usage depends on what’s been discussed, particularly if we’re talking about print advertising.

Will you use the pictures from our shoot for social media or business use?

Usage, Rights, and Copyright

Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime events that require detailed logistics and equipment. They also typically need more hours for pre-production, production, and post-production. From pre-shoots with the bride and groom to covering the ceremony and reception, it’s an all-day affair that often requires multiple shooters. Pricing is based on the duration and guest count. For elopements with less than 25 guests, you can book at our standard rates.

Why do weddings cost more?

Commercial productions vary based on pre-production, production, and post-production needs. Typically, we charge by the hour, but usage—especially for print ads or broadcast—might require additional fees. Let's talk through your project details for an accurate estimate.
